XIRR is the annualised return of a series of cash flows on different dates, such as SIP instalments, top-ups and redemptions. It is the same calculation as Excel’s XIRR function.
Enter each investment as a negative amount and each redemption (or today’s value) as a positive amount. You can paste two columns (date and amount) straight from Excel or Google Sheets, or generate a monthly SIP.

Why are investments negative?
XIRR follows the cash: money leaving your pocket is negative and money coming back (or the current value) is positive. You need at least one of each.
Does this match Excel?
Yes. We use Newton–Raphson with a fallback to Brent’s method and match Excel to within 0.0001%.
Which date formats can I paste?
ISO (2024-01-15), Indian day-first (15/01/2024, 15-01-24), and month names (15 Jan 2024). Amounts may use Indian or international commas, ₹ signs, and brackets for negatives.
